*NEW DATE*

Underwriting & Collections: Understanding the Roles and the Importance of their Relationship

After a wildly successful Lending Workshop this past January, Pierre Cardenas is thrilled to be returning to Louisiana in June, this time to unlock the secrets of successful underwriting and how underwriting is truly intertwined and works in tandem with its delicate counterpart…Collections.  If you previously thought the 2 roles weren’t intertwined, come find out why Pierre strongly believes they are!

Pierre’s philosophy is that learning happens best not by looking at vague textbook concepts but by applying your own credit union and your own members into the interactive learning process. Be prepared to bring a couple of your own credit union’s actual loans (preferably denied loans) to be evaluated and discussed openly in our hands-on interactive session!

Join us on November 8th and 9th in Baton Rouge as we discover

  • Evaluating Risk, Mitigating Risk & Managing Risk
  • Building Loan Portfolios
  • The importance of policy and the role it plays in underwriting
  • Risk associated with different portfolios
